Concerns about the direction of the proposed Molonglo Town Centre have prompted calls for an inquiry into its planning, processes and outcomes. The Molonglo Valley Community Forum, which successfully lobbied for the Valley’s commercial core to be reclassified from group to town centre, has written to the Chair of the Standing Committee on Environment and Planning, Jo Clay, after recent planning moves point to what it fears could be a town centre in name only.
