First Election

The first MVCF election process will occur in September and October this year. Anyone who is a member of the MVCF can nominate for election to become part of the Executive Committee. Being part of the committee is a great way to help your community.

The timings and process are as follows:

• 13 – 27 September 2021 – NOMINATIONS: Eligible members can submit a nomination form for the Executive Committee (committee consists of 7-11 residents).
• 11 – 18 October 2021 – ELECTION: If more than 7 nomination forms are received an election will occur online.
• 21 October 2021 – MVCF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM): the new committee will be announced and commence.
• November 2021 – COMMITTEE POSITIONS: positions are voted on at the first Executive Committee meeting after the AGM.

Everyone is encouraged to become a member of the MVCF by completing a membership form. Membership is free and is one way of showing support for the Forum.

To vote and nominate in the election you must be a member. You need to complete a membership form with your details and email the form to the committee at info@mvcommunityforum.org.au
